What is Title I?
Title I is part of the No
Child Left Behind (NCLB) Legislation that provides supplemental federal
funding for low achieving children in schools that provide free and
reduced lunches for disadvantaged students. The Title I program provides
extra academic support and learning opportunities for children that are
the most in need in meeting Indiana's challenging state academic
standards.
