·        American Education Week kick-off morning announcement - Quote for the Day. 

·        Student will have an art contest – Design your ideal public school.  Drawings will be collected Monday. ( Announce the winner all week and post in the hallways. 

·        Invite Parents to School Day - Daytime visits. 

November 14

·        Morning announcement: Quote for the Day

·        Student writing activity:  Describe what great public school look like.  One essay will be selected and announced Thursday.  Winner will read his/her essay Friday.  (All teachers encourage students to participate.)

November 15

·        Morning announcement:  Quote for the Day

·        Education Appreciation Day - Students write a thank you note to anyone in education who has helped them.  The thank-you notes will be distributed on the last day of the week. 

November 16

·        Morning announcement:  Quote for the Day

·        Community Leader serves as Educator for the Day.
