The Block Jr High football and volleyball teams enjoyed successful seasons this fall. The football team once again went undefeated this past season with seven wins and one tie. The volleyball team did an outstanding job as well posting 8 win seasons for both the 7th and 8th grade teams. Congratulations to both sports and the students who participated in them.

Currently the Boys Basketball and Boys wrestling teams are beginning their seasons with great success. The wrestlers have held their own against Griffith and had multiple medal winners at the King of the Jungle Tournament. With a five game winning streak to open the season, including a win over West Side Junior High things look to be interesting the rest of the way for this season. Girls basketball will be beginning their season next month continuing the success the other sports have established.
