PARENT BOOSTER CLUB MINUTES

2007-01 Our Public Library will be getting in the school textbooks for our students.

2007-02 We have seen teachers getting more involved with our students, but there is still concern about teachers and parents being involved.

2007-03 We still have concern to get the teachers to come to the meetings.

2007-04 We discussed the positive side of things that have happened for the children.

2007-05 We have reiterated that if a teacher has not returned your call please call them back.

2007-06 Dr. Anaya will take our concerns about the GED class to the school board.

2007-07 The concern about GED students being screened was also brought to the attention of Dr. Anaya.

2007-08 We discussed some ideas of fundraisers to raise money for the students to have a dance or even a promotion ceremony.

2007-09 We discussed the concern of the enforcement of the shirts being tucked in at ALL schools.

2007-10 Selling carnations, candy, & nachos were some ideas.

2007-11 The phone number of Alicia Cavazos was given; 378-1316

2007-12 We discussed our next meeting should be on February 21, 2007.

2007-13 We will try to have a teacher represenative at the next meeting.

2007-14 We will try to have our next meeting in the morning so we can try to get more parents involved.
