Title I is the largest Federal aid program for elementary, middle, and high schools.  Through Title I, the Federal Government gives money to school districts nation-wide based on the number of low income families in each district.  Each district uses it money for extra educational services for children most in need of improvement in the standards-based skills of reading and/or math.

Title I schools in our district include Franklin Elementary, Carrie Gosch Elementary, Harrison Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, McKinley Elementary, Washington Elementary, Block Jr. High School, and West Side Jr. High School.
